The Davis Robotics Foundation is non-profit corporation organized to support science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) activities for K-12 students in California, with a focus on robotics programs. The Foundation will fund the operation of FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) teams, primarily FRC Team 1678 in Davis, CA; the Davis Youth Robotics program; and associated competition, outreach, and education programs that promote STEM education and awareness. In addition, the Foundation is organized to accept funding to be used to support other FRC teams and other robotics programs for students in grades K-12.
The Davis Robotics Foundation was incorporated as a non-profit in California on October 10, 2016. The Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Our EIN is 81-4194986. All checks for donations or purchases from the team should be made out to “Davis Robotics Foundation.” Checks can be mailed to Davis Robotics Foundation at P.O.
